Summer holiday movies

You know how there are those movies that you always say that you want to see but never get around to seeing for one reason or another?

Well! These holidays I've decided that I will watch all the movies that I've never got around to watching. I would like some help though. I would love for you to recommend some movies which you think must be watched in one's lifetime.

So far I've got:

Capote
Requiem for a Dream
Clockwork Orange
The Godfather series
Million Dollar Baby
The Birds (and other Hitchcock movies)
Run Lola Run

Any others? Leave them in the comments!

I know this may seem a bit dorky, but I HIGHLY reccommend Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium. I watched that movie over the summer and fell in love with me... And it made me tear up, but I'm kind of a sap like that ;)

I just got back from watching Slumdog Millionaire. I really loved it!

The Godfather series and Run Lola Run are on my to-watch list as well. I've got Capote (the book) but haven't had a chance to read it yet.

Donnie Darko = The best. The Butterfly Effect. Little Miss Sunshine. The Breakfast Club. Garden State. Requiem for a Dream. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Just a hint: wait with Requiem for a dream till the holidays are over. Tough movie ;)

I recommend... Harold & Maude. One of my favourites.
